make terms more technical: define what killed is as a condition like swooned.
I.E. characters with kill status cannot act in any way status can only be removed with supernatural effects (where swoon can be treated.)

this will make other effects become less defined

I.E. Resurrect would become something akin to 'Removes kill status from target or similar effect.'
